Our Services

We provide culturally informed health and wellbeing education designed to help African and Black communities make informed choices about their health. Through workshops, training, community conversations and practical resources, we increase awareness of key health issues, promote prevention and early intervention, and build confidence to access appropriate health and wellbeing services.

Health & Wellbeing Education & Training

The African Well Woman Annual Summit brings women together for a day of health education, empowerment and connection. Working with health professionals, community leaders, and expert speakers, the conference creates a culturally relevant, trusted space to explore the health and well-being issues affecting African and Black women. It equips attendees with practical knowledge to take greater ownership of their health.

Black Men’s Minds United for Wellness is a community-based mental health and wellbeing initiative that works through trusted local barbershops to reach Black men in familiar and accessible spaces. The project creates opportunities for conversations about mental health, builds awareness and confidence in seeking support, and strengthens pathways to appropriate local services, helping reduce stigma and inequalities in access to support.

The African Well Woman Cookbook celebrates African food while supporting healthier everyday choices. It brings together familiar dishes, culturally relevant recipes and practical nutrition information to demonstrate that healthy eating does not have to mean abandoning the foods and flavours we know and love. The cookbook encourages individuals and families to make sustainable changes that support long-term health and wellbeing.
